June - Tuesday 30th 2026 – at 12 noon to 13.00 – Angela Young – Author of The Aristocrat and the Able Seaman.  Soup Lunch to follow. Free Admission.

In Conversation with...at Wantage Methodist Church

June -  Thursday 25th June 2026 - at 7.30pm to 9pm – Panel Event – Healing the soul of the Nation – Responding to divisions in British Society. 

October 17th 2026 – Books and Bacon Baps
November 21st 2026 – Christmas Crafts and Cards

There are many events held at the Church regularly throughout the year. These include:

• A Place To Be - every Tuesday with lunch - informal place to meet friends old and new (The first Tuesday of the month is a 2 course meal costing £5.50) All other Tuesdays come eat soup, bread and pudding or cakes which are on offer. There is no charge but donations are welcome! (For more information see the Information Tab/Activities).

• Social events – pantomime, theatre, walks (for more information see the Information Tab/Activities).

• WitKnits (formerly Loving Hands) – Every Wednesday afternoon between 2pm-4pm – Knitters and those who like to crochet or do any other crafts are welcome – all over a cuppa and a good chat! You also don't need to be part of the church! (For more information see the Information Tab/Activities).

• 'In Conversation With...' led by our Revd Bruce Thompson in partnership with the Wallingford Bookshop. (For more information see the What's On Tab/In Conversation...).
