April 25th 2026 Jumble Sale at 2pm

• Bargain hunters need look no further than Wallingford Methodist Church!

The ever popular Spring jumble sale returns – offering clothes, shoes and bags, toys, household linens and masses of bric-a-brac at cheap prices.

• Refreshments will be available for thirsty shoppers.
• Donations of jumble are welcome in advance and between 10 am and noon on the 25th.
• Proceeds from the sale will benefit the church.

The previous fund raising event (the Big Books and Pancakes morning in February ) made an incredible £780 profit which is being divided equally between WaterAid and Thames Valley Air Ambulance, the church’s two main charities.

There are many events held at the Church regularly throughout the year. These include:

• Talks ('In conversation with...') in partnership with the Wallingford Bookshop
• Jumble Sales
• Folk Concerts
• Book Sales
• Quizzes and Puzzles
• A place to be – informal place to meet friends old and new on Tuesdays with lunch (The first Tuesday of the month is a 2 course meal costing £5.50 and on all other weeks soup, bread and pudding or cakes are on offer. There is no charge but donations are welcome.)-Social events – pantomime, theatre, walks
• Happy Knitters – any crafters can join you also don't need to be part of the church
