Wallingford Methodist Church

We know that people enjoy connecting with God through a variety of different types of service, from an informal family service, to a traditional Holy Communion, we hope we have it covered.

• We meet every Sunday at 10:30am.
• During our Holy Communion Service, all are welcome to come and share in the Sacrament or receive a blessing.
• First Sunday of each Month is Café Church 3.30 – 4.30 pm, an informal church service preceded by a cuppa and cake or biscuits.
• Third Sunday of each month is a Vigil Service 6.30 – 7.20 pm, an informal, contemplative service providing quiet time to think.
• A Junior Church is run each Sunday during morning service.
• All are invited to stay for refreshments after our morning services; it is a wonderful opportunity for us to spend time together and foster relationships within our church family.
• Sunday services are led by either our own minister or local preachers.
• Occasionally our monthly schedule may be adjusted to accommodate significant dates in the Christian calendar, incorporating special services.
• Some also gather groups in mid week for prayer and Bible study.

• The atmosphere is friendly, with interaction encouraged and space for babies and young children to move about, play, and feel at home during the service.
• Events include: Handicrafts, Tuesday Lunches, a lunchtime 'chat show', Jumble sales, Folk evenings, Pancake days and Book sales, to name a few!
